iphone 5 help!

I have an iphone 5, its not activated. I normally use it as an ipod, but i had to update it and it wont let me use it if i dont activate it. Do you guys know a way around it, or will it stay like that? I also have pictures i want to save or print but it wont let me do it in my computer, is there anyway to save them? Thanks

You need a sim card to activate your iphone otherwise it wont work.

Get a sim to make it work. Go to your cellphone carrier to buy one.

Get a micro sim card. Go to a phone carrier unless the phone is stolen, then they just keep the phone and you will not get it back.
