iOS 6 on iPhone 3g...is that possible?

Well, I have an iphone 5 but i also own an iphone 3g, it was my first iphone and i don't want to throw it away. Anyways my question is: is it possible to upgrade my iphone 3g by installing iOS 6? I imagine some feats won't work but, can the 3g handle it? Maybe it's a basic question but i really dunno. Thanks in advance.

No you need a minimum of iPhone 3GS to upgrade to iOS6 i'm pretty sure.

No I dont believe its possible. I think IOS6 starts from iP4.

Outdated hardware and lack of memory make it worthless, things like Safari doesn't work.

It's not worth it, the 3G should be able to take iOS 4.2 and that's decent enough.
