If the girl did teleport Shikaku I think he could've rapped himself tight enough with his shadow technique that his body could've survived the trip. On Inoichi, I'm not sure how he could've survived :/

I'm not saying this happened, I'm just saying there is a small chance that they survived the attack.

Alot of people are suggesting this theory. Personally, I prefer the fact that Shikaku and Inoichi are dead. This war needed some emotional drama.
Mabui's technique would have taken too long to prepare, and even if Shikaku and Inoichi were teleported, the technique may have killed them anyway.
