This is an revision of my first ever fanfic, if its liked enough I will begin writing chapters, but please be patient as I am not a quick fanfic writer....and now onto the story!
*A messenger walks quickly down a hall way towards the Headmasters chambers *
Messenger: My Lord, your presence is needed immediately!
Headmaster: *angrily* Do you know what time it is, this better be an emergency or else someone will pay
Messenger: *goes to one knee and bows* The Premonitions instructor says it’s urgent. He wouldn’t tell me why, except that the school is in trouble.
Headmaster: Of course, I wonder what premonitions he’ll say his students got this time. Last time one of his students had a “vision” we were suppose to get a late winter, instead winter came early and we nearly lost all of our crops.
*as the messenger leaves the Headmasters chambers, he takes notice of all of the paintings of the schools elite assassins hanging up, underneath each of them the ever changing number of assassinations each has completed. The messenger pauses at the portrait of the Headmaster and reads the number of assassinations*
Messenger: 250 confirmed assassinations hmmm. No wonder he’s the most feared assassin, however like this school, his time is coming to an end. Time for my true mission to start! *the messenger quickly heads towards the Premonitions dojo*
*mean while at the Premonition Dojo Headmaster storms into the dojo*
Headmaster: What is the meaning of summoning me at this hour? If this is another false alarm you will all be punished with your lives!
*as the Headmaster finishes speaking, the premonitions instructor nervously bows in front of him and starts to explain the vision*
Teacher: My Lord, the students have seen the destruction of the school and potentially the world!
Headmaster: *angrily* Do you seriously expect me to believe that the future of the entire world rests on this schools existence?
*as the Headmaster begins to draw his pure white katana, the teacher quickly tries to give proof*
Teacher: *quickly kneels and bows his head cowardly* BBBBBut; my Lord, if you only come to the inner chamber you can hear for yourself the students’ vision. They keep repeating the same thing over and over again.
Headmaster: *sliding his katana back into its sheath* Let me remind you of my earlier warning, if this is another one of your failures, not only will you die, but all of your students as well!
*as the teacher and headmaster head towards the premonition chambers, the messenger sneaks into the dojo and heads towards an area where he can hear the hear the students premonition*
Mean while back in the chamber of visions the teacher and the headmaster walk in
Teacher: *tentatively* this way my Lord, the students have still be chanting the premonition over and over again.
Students: *voices resonating together* in 200 years, this will be the last school of its kind in existence. The other four schools will be destroyed by a group called Infinity, whose existence began at this very school. There will be four signs that the end is coming, the first being a great war that’s involves every country in the entire world. The second sign being the use of a weapon that quiets the voices of nearly 150000 at once. The third sign will be giant metal birds flying into two spears that scrape the sky. The fourth and final sign will be the destruction of this school by the god of the mountain.
*the headmaster listened intently to the student’s prophecy, trying to make sense of what he has just heard, the messenger begins to move believing the prophecy is over*
Messenger: My superiors will reward me richly for gaining this prophecy, but first I think I’ll take care of everybody who has heard this prophecy.
*The messenger leaves his hiding spot and heads to the sleeping chambers, quickly and quietly dispatching every student, teachers and attendants at the dojo.
Meanwhile, back in the chamber of visions, the Headmaster begins to speak to the students*
Headmaster: This is your master speaking; you will answer all my questions quickly and accurately! Now tell me, is there any way to keep these premonitions from happening?
Students: Yes, there is one that could save the world, this savior will be an idiot, but will wield a katana as pure as snow with the elegance of cherry blossom petals flowing through the wind
Headmaster: *looking down at his katana* but that description…it matches my katana! Tell me; am I the one to keep this from happening?
Students: My Lord, you are not the one that keeps this from happening. The one that saves the world isn’t smart, athletic, and annoys everyone he meets. This person’s name is…
*as the student begins to speak the name of this person, the messenger appears behind the headmaster with his sword through the headmaster’s stomach*
Messenger: You old fool! You were so preoccupied with some premonition that you didn’t even sense my presence, some great assassin you are!
*the headmaster coughs up some blood as he goes to grab his katana*
Headmaster: You, you traitor!! I’ll see that you pay with your life ten times over!
*before the headmaster could fully draw his katana, the messenger had cleaved the headmaster from his stomach to his head*
Messenger: Now that he is out of the way, time to finish this and destroy any evidence of my presence! When my master hears my report, I’m sure I’ll be rewarded richly!
*the messenger laughs evilly as he finishes killing off the remaining students and teacher, than sets fire to the inner chamber and the dojo*
The following day, the entire school mourned the loss of the headmaster, the students and faculty that had made up the Premonition school. The destruction of the building and its occupants was determined to be an unattended lamp which had fallen over. Because there was no one left who knew how to use the premonition techniques, it was never taught at the school. The premonition for the future had died with the former headmaster and the students. Over the centuries, the incident was forgotten, only mentioned as a cautionary tell about not leaving candles and lamps unattended when lighted. Because the white katana was never recovered, it was also dismissed as folklore from a time long ago by the school and its students. As the years passed, the world was engulfed in two
World Wars, the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and the attacks on the World Trade Centers, fulfilling three of the four prophecies given that day. On the same day that the Towers fell, a child was born, the one that would in the future be labeled dumb, un-athletic and an annoyance to everybody he meets, except for his closest friend…
At the Nakmura residence, a girl arrives to walk to school with the boy
School Girl: *knocks on the front door*
*Mrs. Nakamura opens the door*
Mrs Nakamura: Well hello Yoko, Akash isn’t up yet. I’ll go wake him up.
Yoko: Thanks Mrs. Nakamura he’s going to pay if he makes us late again!
*as Mrs. Nakamura heads up the stairs towards Akash’s room, Akash wakes up, half on his bed and half off of it*
Akash: *looks at clock* O_O Crap I’m going to be late again and Yoko might really kill me this time. *gets dressed and heads downstairs* Hey Yoko *runs past Yoko and heads towards the school* what took you so long, if you don’t hurry up we are going to be late!
Yoko: *runs after Akash* Dammit Akash, you were the one that was still sleeping; when I catch you I’m going to kill you!
*As Yoko runs after Akash, a figure appears on the Nakamura’s house watching them run towards the school*
