Introduction.
A cold wind moved along the facets of a long winding cavern, creating an eerie sound that echoed around the solemn figure that trudged through the solitude walls. The figures torch flickered as the wind gently caressed the flames. The being stopped for a moment gathering his dark black cloak tighter around him, to fight off the chilly night air.
Outside of the cavern the being could hear wild shouts of combat and battle cry's. Shaking his head the being walked towards the ever increasing sounds of combat. As he neared the entrance to the cavern, the moons beams illuminated his body revealing his shadowy features. The man wore sleek black boots, with silver buckles, gray pantaloons, and a jet black cloak around his body, concealing his face. On the tip of the hood was the symbol of a dove holding a silver sword. Underneath his hood shown twin pure golden hued eyes. Tied around his middle was a sleek sword belt, which strapped on his left side was his sheathed sword. The hilt of the weapon was a silver eagle head, indicating the mark of mastery of the deadly sword art Surge. Upon his back was a brown sackskin, fastened tightly together with two buckles.
At the caverns base the man surveyed an empty field before him, however the screams of combat persisted. The man however shook his head from side to side and called out, "Come out Rin! Enough of your tricks!"
In the very instant the sounds of combat faded into nonexistence and a shadowy figure slowly transcended from the ground, laughing uproariously. As the laughter intensified, the shadows began to cluster together slowly creating bleak red painted war armor. The armor coated the mans body nearly completely, leaving the remaining areas to be covered by blackened chain-male. The mans head was unguarded revealing silver cropped hair, brown eyes, chapped lips, a firm rounded chin and a scar which ran from the right side of his head, to just below the left lip. The man carried no weapon, belt or satchel. Instead in his right chainmaled hand, a crimson fire emanated indicating a powerful resonance of unadulterated power.
Rin's laughter did little to affect the first figure who stood oblivious to his presence. Rin grinned, "Well now I think its time we continue our little spite now."
As if to mark Rin's words the heavens began to shutter, the grounds shook and the very air became suffocating. "I can feel it!" Rin screamed. "Fresh meat is coming!" The ground began to pulsate and air was vibrating as hundreds of bright lights began to descend from the heavens.
As the shaking continued the man with the golden eyes looked to the heavens past the falling lights, as if staring up at a deity. Contemptuously Rin spat at the man's feet, "Like all the times that happened before and all the times that will happen in the future, you will never be able to save any of them, you should just give up!"
The mighty golden eyes stared directly at Rins eyes making the being take a step backwards. "We will see." He said solemnly, as the falling golden lights slammed into the earth.
And so once again the game had begun once more.
