This weeks survey is about these interviews, I think they obviously give important insights into the not so complex mind of Kishimoto. Sooo, if you havn?t read the interviews, read them. After that tell us your thoughts in the comments section and through the survey this week. I?ll update the post after the new manga spoiler comes out.
Ja mata
P.S. Thanks again to 9tailedsage for bringing it up again.
January 2007
1. Is Jiraiya dead?
Kishi : He lives??????????in your heart.
Naruto has to be grown up. Shikamaru also needed to be grown up. And Sakura will have to be grown up, too. Lee? Lee doesn?t need to be grown up anymore.

2. What?s gonna happen next year?
Kishi : Started with Sasuke vs Itachi battle.
I?m gonna write about mainly Sasuke next year. And Kakashi and Sakura, after that. Especially Kakashi. I can?t tell yet but a huge event will happen to him.

3. What kind of way of ending do you do with Sasuke vs Itachi battle?
Kishi : I can?t tell. But I have kept this waiting to manga readers for a long time. So I?ll have to make everyone gets content with it.

4. Describe the color of Sasuke vs Itachi battle.
Kishi : Glossy-Black

5. Describe the color of Kakashi story which you just mentioned about.
Kishi : Dark Blue

6. You said you?re gonna write about Sasuke, Kakashi and Sakura. What about Naruto?
Kishi : Naruto has to wait.

7. Are you gonna write the battle of each member of Hebi?
Kishi : Actually I didn?t want to. But Shueisha ordered me to do with something about them.

That?s all. He didn?t say anything about the Akatsuki on the stage.

SJ: There?s many rumours regarding Madara being the absolute final villain. Is this true?

MK: Madara being the final villain is yet to be seen and I can?t let that information out just yet. But he will play a big part as a villain, that?s for sure.

SJ: Now that it?s officially known that Yondaime is Naruto?s father, will you show more of Minato?

MK: Yes, definitly. I actually wanted to reveal more about Yondaime earlier, but other characters were in development and some fights still had to be dealt with.

SJ: While we?re at it? could you please tell us if Minato was the strongest shinobi that ever lived?

MK: Hmmm, it?s a tricky question. As far as dead shinobis goes, then yes, he?s the strongest. I?d say that Sandaime shares the number one spot with him. As far as living shinobis goes? well, without going into many details I?d have to say no. There?s a couple of shinobis whose stronger than him.

SJ: Now that Itachi seems to be dead, what is Kisame going to do now?

MK: Kisame has always come off as a sidevillain whose only purpose is to travel along Itachi. But to my surprise, Kisame has gone from an unpopular character to someone whose more popular than Deidara after the Gai-fight. I won?t say too much, but Kisame is a character that wont die anytime soon. I will definitly develop on his character more and possibly make him?

SJ: Make him what?

MK: It?s a surprise.

1st interview was found at: animesuki.com

2nd interview was found at:narutomania.com

This sums up the thoughts for alot of people who think Kishi gave away too much in these last couple interviews. It was posted by the user Rocklees8thgate on youtube.

I never heard his talking about Kisame. But if its true, I guess Kisame is gonna change to a good person, while he was close to Itachi and was very polite.

Point by point (if you know the 'fake' one, please share):

*This is an oddly obvious foreshadowing that a certain teacher/guardian/parent like presence in her life is going to be removed. Tsunade's days may be numbered. My guess is that it will be thanks to Madara, if at all. Of course, he has stated that Sakura represents the most 'normal' female, so by THIS virtue, it may just mean that Sakura's training/development under Tsunade will be hastened and highlighted, and Tsunade may simply 'retire' shortly thereafter. Also, Rock may hopefully be getting more spotlight. Rock on his own, not necessarily with Guy.

*Mainly Sasuke? He's basically doing that right now, so it looks like he's ahead of schedule. "Especially" Kakashi and "big event".. sounds like a new hokage. Or possibly a run-in with a past person in his life, like Rin, or maybe some blood relative. In regards to Sakura, I addressed what I thought above.

*He can't tell must mean that it'll be too obvious to even give a hint, so it'll most likely be a very important element to the story, kind of like how Jiraiya died.

*Black is one extreme, white is the other. Black like Uchiha eyes, white like Hyuuga eyes. It may have to do with the idea of the yin-yang, which is shown to be a pretty important symbol with the Hyuuga clan. So maybe something about the Hyuuga clan will be revealed because of it. Afterall, Itachi was placed in the center of all Konohagakure affairs, so the noble family could very well be a part of it. Hell, maybe Zetsu knows something, and that something could be bad for someone.

*Dark blue. In regards to a hinduistic belief, this represents the shifting tides of battle between gods and demons. He may play a big part in dealing with Pain, or possibly the Kyuubi or the other tailed-beasts. In terms of geometric symbolism, blue is used for a circle. So maybe something with the sharingan, or better yet, the Rinnegan (it IS blue, after all). In regards to auras, people with a blue aura are said to be spiritually in touch, and would make good writers (jiraiya), teachers (well, Kakashi), psychologists (Neji), or counselors (Tsunade), so he may have some kind of important interaction with one of them. Another application of dark blue in particular is that it is usually worn by those high in political power (almost like a hokage, hmmmm).

*Naruto has to wait = This series is going to be going for a loooooong time, friends!

*"Well, I didn't really give a damn about Hebi (especially Karin, since she's a girl), but I'm being forced to throw everyone a bone. Maybe a love triangle between Karin - Sasuke - Sakura that I'll abandon in a big hurry because I already have Sakura and Sasuke planned out for the most part. Suigetsu... eh, maybe he'll fight Kisame or something. And Jugo? I'll probably kill him off."

*Madara definetly is NOT the final villain. It would behoof you to get that idea out of your head.

*Sounds like he'll try to show some kind of fight or two with Minato. We'll know the most about him as a hokage, I think.

*Most people have probably figured that out by now. As for the second part, sounds like Naruto is even stronger than he's being credited!

*Thank god. Kisame has incredibly high potential. It sounds like he is going to move up in rank in some sense. Maybe as the next Mizukage, or a change of affiliation, like siding with Sasuke.

*Or something completely different.

Whew. Now which one do I think could be the fake one? The one about the 4th being the strongest or the one about Kisame are my guesses. Or if by fake one you mean interview, then I'd say everything after 'Naruto has to wait'.

I guess I was right, then. It's the mark of an intelligent man to entertain an idea without accepting, so nothing was lost.

However, Madara definetly will not be the final villain.
