Absolute masterclass in my opinion. The way the characters and the plot tugged at your emotions (when was he ever going to get back to his kids for instance) and the fact that the female lead wanted to go to her lover's planet but the plot demanded they didn't (even though it turned out to be the most habitable one) and a whole slew of other instances. This on top of the fact that it was very scientifically accurate (thanks to them bringing a renowned physicist on during filming to make sure it was accurate to basic and advanced String Theorem) and the cinematography was exquisite. One of my top 5 movies all time for sure.

It was indeed a masterpiece , its not everyday that some movie actually gives you a detailed description of a higher dimensional plane and actually goes to the extent of visualizing it.
I agree the movie was kindda slow and a one time watch but its worth every cent

The soundtrack by Hans Zimmer sends shivers up my spine, the tracks "Day One", "Mountains", and "No Time For Caution" are the best soundtracks I've heard since Braveheart and Inception. Its on my top 10's definitely.

what i absolutely loved about the movie was that nolan and his scriptwriters didnt dumb the film down for us -- a pretty high level explanation of the theory of relativity, et al. twas a brilliant movie.
