its an old mind set from parents, they grew up in the 60s/70s (most of i'd assume) during the peak of racial tension, ideas have been pounded into them by there parents/guardians from that time.

You must understand it is not the fault of said racist/no mixing person..these ideas were instilled within them at early ages, you can't change something that you were exposed to at an early age easily..it doesn't only apply to racism/pure breed ideals..it applies to other things as well, such as religion/hated of gay people/doesn't believe in using clorox..etc etc..

I don't think racism will go away anytime soon..as long as there are parents/guardians who instill such ideals into children it will never go away..if you want to stop racism/no mixing or whatever you wanna call it you have to start with the parents, not the children. People aren't born racist.

I dont have any problem with any marriage between two adult humans regardless of their attributes

and those who do dont actually have to engage in such a marriage but they should also leave everyone else alone, what i want to say is: they can oppose it however they like but they should keep it to themselves or to groups who agree with them, and their thoughts certainly shouldnt affect the federal law

Your right, it shouldn't effect the laws but you know how ignorant some are, they'll teach their kids the same and their kids will teach their kids so it will never end.

Unless the kids see the truth or fall in love with some one outside their race . . . the cycle is slowly breaking or we wont be discussing this.

ofcourse god made everyone different and cultures so we may know one another it would be boring marrying some just because of culture like me for example my mum is somalia born and i am british somali lol anyway my mum expects me to marry a somali girl but she will not be like 0_0 if i dont she just thinks they might steal my child and run into there country and never be found lool but variety of people is much better like everyone likes sweets but they taste all kinds if you know what i mean lol

Although the idea indeed sounds stupid, it's actually quite normal for people to think like this. Genetically, it's your instinct to prefer someone of your own ethnical race over others, although I assume most of this has passed over the time of evolution, but look at it differently. 60 years ago, there were still countries with colonies and thus slaves. Also, villages and cities were less developed and had less diversity than they had now. By that logic, people were only used to seeing people of their own "race".

I'm not agreeing with it, but just saying there's logic behind the way of thinking. Not only religious groups think of it this way.

i have my own opinoun on that like i dont really care if they want to get marride its their choice but when in a religoun it is forbiden and a sin yet they claim it is homophobic and trying to justicfy a sin that is very annoying like when they want to marry in a church and its not allowed but they say it is seriously im muslim by the way and its like me saying i am goner marry a dog in a mosque by the way soon homophobie will be gone and a new thing will come people marrying animals then something else then no humans lool joking

Well, seeing as how there's only one race, the human race, it's physically impossible to have an interracial marriage unless you're marrying a dog or cat or something. If color or something makes you be of a different race, then I'm a monkey's uncle. xd

What the absolute **** lol? I don't give a damn about Wales, and to be honest, it's not that surprising considering it's a country which is predominantly one race - Caucasian. By UK I suppose I meant England but I was careless U_U And of course, I cannot speak for the whole of the England, only London since that's where I live.

Actually that happened in Swansea, England. Take it from a black man living in England, racism still exists. People just tend to hide it more because of fear of being prosecuted.

Swansea is near the coast in Wales. And, of course, you will get quite abit of racism up north in places like Liverpool and further up in Newcastle and the like. But in London, I think things are quite good.

It is homophobic, just b/c the bible says it's a sin, doesn't mean sh*t. I'm agnostic, I have no problem if gay people want to marry, you compare it as if you wanted to marrying a dog which is way off buddy. Being gay isn't a choice, this people just want to marry who they love, it's b/c of people like you that the world is still so ignorant..
Love knows no gender,race, age. If two people care and love each other then let them marry, it doesn't hurt you or anyone.
What's annoying is people who always have to claim they know better when in reality all they know what to say is "It says in the bible" well tell it to someone that care. :ice:
