Are there any computer geeks on this base?

Today we received a new provider and everything went well (with the previous one as well)

Now that I connected my PC to the new WiFi settings and modem I barely have any speed.

My download speed reaches 1.9MB and my upload doesn't even reach 1MB. My Ping is between 5 and 20.
But if I check on my parents their laptop their download speed is between 40 and 50MB and their upload is between 35 and 40 MB.

I don't have a internet cable to check out as well.

What can be the problem? cause with our previous provider I had zero issues.

If all of you connected to same WiFi network you should get similar speeds. If one of you starts leeching porn continuously he might suck all the bandwidth but with 40-50Mbps that does not seem to be the case.
May be some software in your laptop is limiting yours.
