What if Kara works for an inorganic extraterrestrial race that is at war with the Otsutsuki Clan?

Why are the Otsutsuki trying to become so powerful? Thats what initially gave me that thought. Perhaps they are facing a threat.
How is it that the Otsutsuki and Kara have karma seals? Not only that but Boruto and Kawaki appear to have two halves of a complete set.
Either Kara and the Otsutsuki are working together or they are at odds with each other. I think its the latter because Kara seems to be against the use of chakra and there is no way the Otsutsuki would be their allies knowing this.
