Doffys strings being able to "revive" him if he's given enough time leads me to wonder. . . . How will Luffy stop him? He cant just go for a KO as usual coz doffy's strings will keep reviving him? Will we finally see Luffy "end" someone?

well hes not being revived, hes sowing up the wounds. if you've ever had stiches youd know that they still hurt like hell, theres just no open wound from it. So doffy is still weakened, he just isn't going to die so easily
I can't see Luffy killing Doffy, especially in this Shounen manga. Maybe someone will come clean up behind him? I'm thinking Luffy will get the knockout here, he will have Doffy incapicated and unable to move once the fight is over. Someone mentioned last week that CP0 may come to kill Doffy or at least collect him once the fight is over, I see that as a possibility but we don't know if they left have already left the island or not.
Interesting. Law did say that the Gamma knife "destroys" internal organs so I would imagine that the Surgeon of Death wouldnt use that phrase to mean anything but. . . That leads me to think that Doffy's ability is more akin to regeneration of internal organs, and not just suturing two pieces together. But I guess your argument is valid coz Doffy refers to his ability as emergency medical treatment

well ya that and it would make sense that since his df power is string the first thing I assumed was to sow something. he really hasn't shown an revive feats at all and he did look pretty beat up after law connected that hit
