Let's just say madara was able to accomplish this while still in edo form then challenging obito in order to weaken him so that he can perform the rinne tensei jutsu.

Anyone think madara could've taken juubito out?

He'd be edo but his arsenal would be rinnegan paths limbo hashi's senjutsu mokuton and PS.
Remember senjutsu is needed to do damage to a juubi Jin(unless you're Gai). Your thoughts???
