Which anime makes you think about general problems/topics in real life?
I'm talking about the anime that actually teach you something, and make you create an opinion. Explain if you'd like.

Death Note's the obvious culprit here, I think. A few others whose themes really stood out to me:

- FLCL (deals with things like maturity, of all sorts)
- Cowboy Bebop (deals with being nailed down to something and moving on from it, the past and the like)
- Clannad (deals with the importance of family and making amends with past trials and mistakes)
- Mushishi (various themes, but one of the chief ones is that there are answers besides violence)

Code Geass, Death Note, Monster, The flowers of Evil (Manga) Please avoid the anime until a better version is made. Fate/Zero if you think about it. Hunter x Hunter when it gets into those deep moments. Theres a few others that escape my mind atm
