The Perfectionists of Action as opposed to the Perfectionists of Thought
Intellect alone can have its defining factors as well as intelligence. However, factors alone cannot provide definite closure for either of the two. Meaning, you can’t simply conclude for both without applying diversities and, at least, without relating the two with each other. Intellect and intelligence will batter on or with both. But for certain, intellect and intelligence are of the cognitive office. However, can one individual have intellect, even in its superior form without a level-headed intelligence? Moreover, is it not impossible for intelligence to work without a capable intellect?
Intellect, simply put, is the mind’s ability of knowledge such as withholding information and data. Intelligence on the other hand, is a way of innovating these information through application or action in subtle, practical and analytical ways. This is only an overview, but demonstrates the general idea between the two.
The difference of knowing whether one could stand alone without the other varies from showmanship. One can suppose a person has high intellect without obviously displaying intelligence on par with the former, or perhaps vice versa. A person may show high intellect with the girth of their knowledge; however, their intelligence may not be equally obvious. A person may not be knowledgeable about business but may have high intelligence in matters involving situations in a business, namely: decision making and problem solving. Another example would be a figure that cites chronological facts/ examples to prove a point might have high intellect due to their broad knowledge; however, their conclusion might be erroneous if misguided (a sign of low intelligence). Meanwhile, a figure without having the knowledge appropriate under the circumstances may contribute to the advancement of, for example: a latest research on a particular disease may prove to be someone with high intelligence but low knowledge. Intellect can be a broad source for information, whereas intelligence would seem inexistent but it is there.
Ideally, to have intellect and intelligence is agreeable. You can rest your intellect as a foundation at starting on your plans and intelligence is a necessity to make it work favorably. You can multiply your intellect throughout a life span, and intelligence can be harness as well through practice from environmental life experience and biological processes..
Having knowledge is power. But you must have intelligence to amplify that power.
