Yes, that's true... But Sakura was facing the Fourth Kazekage's puppet, you know, a variety of Iron Sand weapons chasing after her, that trick is not that helpful in that scenario.

They were in Deadlock , with a page of flashback , as if she came up with that strategy near death/being chase . Shikamaru was much more pressured in his fight against Hidan , and came up with a much better strategy , one he had planned days before , not even knowing what would unfold . Genius indeed .

Your telling me that Shikamaru having no other types of scholastic studies or engaging in any other particular complex feilds that require a wealth of knowlage makes his mind brighter and more diverse then someone who does?

Listen I'm willing to say that Shikamaru is an amazing strategist, tactician and problem solver plus hes without a doubt stronger than Sakura in those elements but Sakura has a in-depth intellectual mind.

She's proven herself to be able to retain loads of information that come from many different select fields and deducde very complex things with observation alone.

Surely she is smart by knowing where her punch landing zone is. It takes a scientist to emulate such power with pure chakara control. No character in this series could produce such a feat. Sakura solos with her genius chakara control. Which she has better control over than her love for Sasuke.

lol? You're basing her being smart off her medical ninjutsu knowledge. That's like someone studying biology in school and the other kid studying engineering but you call him dumb because his bio knowledge is lacking compared to the person who is studying bio? That's not what being smart is about, lets say Shikamaru cared for medicine and actually studied it, THAN could you compare him to Sakura in that regard. You know I really wasn't going to respond to you becuase you started your post off with a misstatement but I'll oblige you.

For starters, I never insinuated or constructed my argument based on Sakura's medical ninjutsu achivemts solely. I referenced Cryptography, Spatial Reasoning, Toxicology, Biology, Chemistry and Complex reasonings. And by me citing those areas to which Sakura has feats in, I proved that Sakura excells scholastically in many areas other than one or two but o do like your refence of the two students who specialize in two different areas (engineering/Bio) and I hope you don't mind me using it.

Shikamaru would be the kid who specialized in engineering, he would be the student whos in the top of his particular class or the smartest amoungst his peers in that spefic course amd went onto acoplish much in the career of engineering. While Sakura would be the student who is well versed in both bio & chemistry plus more courses that require the same scholastic or academic requirements (since in the manga her intellect touches many different aspects), has completed each course with top notch grades and gained notoriety in their career feilds.

Are you willing to tell me that the student that is Sakura didn't retain more information if they managed to to complete each course they were in and preformed adequately in each actaul career field? Sure they will never be as good as shikamaru the engineer when engineering but doesn't it count for something if their good at what they do in many other equalivent feilds?
