chouki forms a giant butterlfy fly, pins kimimaro to the ground (he did this to kakuzu and asura path so why not kimi)? shika uses shadow possession. then ino mind posssession takes over kimimaro and commands him to release his bone jutsu. ino releases her jutsu the moment shika's shadow sewing technique reaches her, and kimimimaros eyes and brain are impaled upon shikas shadows. chouji was almost as large as gedo mazo so yeah.
