With Madara and Obito mounted in place controlling the 10 tails, this seems like a perfect time to use this attack. In this instance it appears we have 2 cho's which will work out better than just Chouji. Chouji and his father could both hit the 10 tails to distract it, they'll most likely be knocked back, maybe killed but a distraction nevertheless. Ino could either take control of Madara or Obito, because as we know they are controlling the 10 tails. It seems to be that neither can control it alone, not even Madara. If Ino were to take control of Madara and Shikamaru manages his shadow technique on Obito, she could make Madara strike Obito and force him to three options. Dodge and break connection to the 10 tails, Go intangible and break connection, or take the hit, which would probably make him lose connection anyway.
If all that were to take place the battle would be split in two. Fodder ninja vs 10 tails; K11 and others vs Madara and Obito. That kind of battle would be more advantageous because as we know the 10 tails is not perfect yet, and does not seem to be battle smart. Both sides would take losses but it's a better strategy than the 10 tails dropping tbb's on them and finishing the fight in 2 panels. U_U
