Ink Ninjutsu

Ink Ninjutsu ( Sumi Ninjutsu; Literally meaning "Ink Ninja Techniques" ) refers to a field of techniques which specialize in the utilization of special Ink drawn onto scroll. Users mold and shape their chakra into the Ink as they draw various animals and life forms, causing the drawn items to come to life. Because of it's composition, Ink can be used to greatly block one's vision as well as lower their ability to move efficiently.

Abilities:
  • Users carry around a specialized custom scroll to draw on. The scroll's roller has compartments for their ink brush and to hold a supply of ink. A distinct advantage of this is that he can perform it with a single hand, leaving the other free for enemy counter-attacks.
  • Ink can be used to obscure a target's vision and make it impossible to see, lowering their Dexterity when in use. However, this cannot be done while the user has increased any of his own attributes.
  • Ink viscosity is slightly thicker than water but not as thick as Swamp of the Underworld, existing somewhere in betwixt the two. Because of this, Ink is capable of lowering a target's Agility when in use. However, this cannot be done while the user has increased any of his own attributes.
  • Should one lower a target’s Attribute, another drop of the same attribute cannot be don e at the same time and at max, only two attributes can ever be debuffed at any time.

Restrictions:
  • Can be made any rank.
  • Counts as an Advanced Ninjutsu.
  • Requires 1,000 Kumi.

Ink Ninjutsu Mastery

Ink Ninjutsu Adept Skills

Proficiency (Passive) (I-III): The user’s Adept skill is honed, passively increasing the damage of their basic Ink Ninjutsu techniques by 10/20/30. This does not include Fuinjutsu based techniques.

Efficiency (Passive) (I-III): The user can perform Ink Ninjutsu with greater efficiency, reducing chakra consumed by 20/30/40%. This does not reduce the effective quantity of chakra in a technique, nor does it reduce the chakra cost of Ink Ninjutsu Mastery abilities.

Honed Lethality (Passive) (I-III): The user’s Ink Ninjutsu techniques are honed further, sharpened through their Adept skills. Increases critical damage by 10/20/30%.

Drawn Mimicry
Mimicry - Requires Tier II of each Adept Skill in order to unlock Drawn Mimicry Path.

Beast Reflection ( Passive )
- When created, the user's Ink Clones are enhanced, allowing them use up to S ranked techniques as well as the user's Water techniques in the form of Ink Ninjutsu from their bodies.

Nature's Mimicry ( Passive ) - All of the user's sentient Ink Creations have enhanced speed base stats, moving with 3 additional speed levels.

Primal Ascendance ( Active ) - Actviated at the cost of a jutsu per turn and in the same timeframe of Super Beast Imitation, this allows the technique to now be used to mimic up to Mythical Contracts, replicating their physical traits such as their speed, tracking, durability as well as duration time. They cannot use ninjutsu related skills such as Toad Oil or Slug Acid but it can recreate these techniques as S ranked Ink blasts, devoid of the unique properties of the technique. This usage creates a single creation and can be donce twice per fight.

Animal Insight ( Active ) - Activated at the cost of a move per turn. This technique can replicate any non-living sentient figure such as Susano'o and other familiars. It will move with 4 additional speed levels and have similar tracking/durability to the copied technique. They cannot use the original techs of the summoning but can fly/swim if the contract animal can as well as release blasts of ink equal to damage of copied technique. This can only be used twice per fight.

Masterful Mimicry ( Active ) - Once per battle, the user is capable of using Supergod Imitation Drawing to copy a Legendary Contract, shedding the debuffing attributes associated with Ink in favor of replicating creatures as Ink with similar base speed, tracking and damage capabilities to the original technique.

Shackled Artwork
Sealing/Binding - Requires Tier II of each Adept Skill in order to unlock Sealing Path.

Imprinted Beast Seal ( Passive )
- When creating seals that create barriers, the user can enhance them with Ink scripts, increasing their binding effect at the cost of 10 extra chakra though this does not increase the available chakra within the techniques. This causes these barriers to prevent the usage of Free Dodges within mid range of these techniques

Animal Essence Binding ( Passive ) - The user passively enhance their Ink based Fuin Barriers up to A rank to prevent enhanced physical movement within range for 1 turn unless destroyed. This means any movement above base speed becomes restricted for 1 turn, though this cannot be done at the same time as Imprinted Beast Seal.

Unbound Demons ( Active ) - At the cost of it's damage, the user can increase the binding effects of his Ink techniques and their ability to seal a target's AGL. For every 20 base damage reduced from a technique, the user can reduce target's AGL by a further 1 AGL, maxing at a reduction of 3 AGL. This cannot stack with any other source of AP reduction and can only be donce twice a battle.

Tethered Fauna Art ( Active ) - At the cost of a technique, the user's Beast Imitations can generate thick ink pools around them as they move, having viscosity and effects similar to A rank Swamp of the Underworld. This prevents physical movement and, if used with a technique covering at least 15 meters in radius, begins to drown them, dealing 60 damage per turn.

Sabertooth Foresight ( Active ) - Tiger Vision Bullet’s effect enhanced, Tiger releases thick ink in it’s short range radius, lowering speed by 5 until exited. Binds movement while in physical contact, preventing physical movement or S/T movement until destroyed.

Blast Radius
Explosive/Thickness - Requires Tier II of each Adept Skill in order to unlock Explosive Path.

Ink Markers ( Passive )
- The user's Ink skills can explode and spread Ink within a 3 meter radius, spreading Ink Markers onto people and other sentient beings. These Ink Markers track targets and have explosive power when 3 or more are stacked, causing 40 damage to a target and spreading a Marker to anything else within 3 meters.

Art Clouds ( Passive ) - The user Ink techniques are covered in a thick cloud of inky smoke that prevents them to be seen clearly without enhanced chakra vision. This makes targets within short range of Ink creations of 5 meters and smaller require at least 30 tracking to track properly, otherwise being unable to track them though this doesn’t increase their speed.

Blast Zone ( Active ) - At the cost of a move per turn, the user causes any Ink Marker within a mid range radius to explode without the need for the stacking effect, increasing their lethality at the cost of limiting their ability to transfer more Markers. Each marker causes a 30 damage explosion and if multiple exist in one 3 meter radius, this damage is added together.

Marked Ink Blots ( Active ) - The user's Beast Imitations can create powerful Ink Blasts that create 2 Markers on any target hits, creating quick buildup. These Beast Imitations are also capable of reducing their size by half to create a field of thick ink, masking their specific location within 5 meters. This ink cloud prevents usage of any chakra or vision based sensory within it's field as well as lower target's DEX by 1 for 2 turns.

Ink Fragmentation ( Active ) - At the cost of a move per turn, the user targets any large Ink technique and causes it to detonate, dealing an initial 60 damage that is increased by 30 damage for each additional marker within mid range of the explosion. These detonations cause a massive dark cloud of Ink, effectively blocking any chakra sensory of anything within them and reduce opponent's DEX by 2 for 2 turns. This can only be done once per battle.
