Exactly how much of a parent's personality can a child inherit. There is a church I'm familiar with where a lot of the members are related. I won't be disrespectful enough to call them inbred, but I noticed a lot of them who are distant cousins share a really similar personality type of quietness and calmness.

Does a child really inherit personality from a parent? Is it normal, or are some personalities more hard-wired for survival which is why they are inherited?

Personalities are a learned trait, there are formed from what a child is exposed tombs how they are raised. Though psychologists say there is only like 5 personality types
