Infinite Tsukyomi should have became a choice rather than having a lame twist

Do you think this is a better scenario?

I would have preferred it if Sasuke talked Madara into giving the world a "red or blue pill" scenario like in the ending of The Matrix Revolution instead of the lame Zetsu twist/asspull/plot hole. Where you can choose whether or not to live for eternality in a blissful dream and stick it out in reality.

Does anybody else think this would have been a better ending?

ikr alot of people would've agreed and naruto wouldn't say anything since he has no right to choose for people

Well this is not Matrix . People would have complained anyway that kishi copied from Matrix.

The same way they claimed for Obito and Darth Vader .

I think most people would have.

A rip-off of the ending to the Matrix Revolution would have been better than the shitty ending developement we got.

Madara would have gotten the vast majority of people to accept IT if he altered their perception of time and left them like that for a day(that's how long the world was under the Genjutsu).

1 second = 3 days in Tsukyomi. So 24 hours = 700 years. Who would want to leave a blissful world after being in that long?

Yeah. I really dislike the fact that everyone waking up from their "perfect" world back into the real one was only briefly shown, I wish there was at least something about some of them possibly not wanting to live in the harsh reality :| I mean, sure, maybe they just forgot their IT dreams like they would normal dreams, but there was nothing stating that, too.

The choice thing would sure be a bit too Matrix-like, but the conflict itself could have been there. Like with someone wanting to live in their dream world even if that would mean Zetsufication.

In my scenario Zetsufication doesn't exist.

Would be much better this way. The alliance was just about to give up anyway and Naruto cried like a ***** until Sasuke acted and if this would've been a legit choice from the very begining than no one would have the right to interfere anyway. I sure as hell would go for it if I had the chance.

Madara still wouldnt have given anyone a choice. He'd do ot regardless of them saying yes or no.

He's not the type to accept resistance.

Nah it's different, in the Matrix, people chose to stay because they lived there their entire lives and the real world was a hell hole, the people in Naruto were only stuck in IT for two days.

The Narutoverse is shit too. Otherwise Kakashi's dad wouldn't have killed himself. People like Kimimaro couldn't leave his bed without dying. Plus there are loads of people that like the idea living forever along with being happy the entire time.

It's shit, but it's nowhere near as bad as the Matrix (the real world is a desolate wasteland in that) and the time Naruto grew up in was nowhere near as bad as Kakashi's time, and was way, waaaaay better than the time of Hashirama and Madara. And these likely pale in comparison to the Juubi rampages.

There is still the issue of people suffering from disorders like Kimmimaro.
