Hagoromo explained how IT works. The Shinobis are attached to the Shinju, while the Shinju absorbs their Chakra and keeping the 'Slaves alive while the user has acces to their Powers ... This kinda reminded of how Boos absorption tech. works.
He absorbs his opponents and he also keeps them alive inside himself while they're sleeping inside of him and he also has acces to all of their techs.
Except that Boo has it so much easier.
