So I was just watching Road to Ninja for the first time (movie that solidies Minato as the coolest, btw) and my question to the base is: exactly what is wrong living in a fake but perfect world until death?
In the real world, nothing is permanent; all that you've accomplished, all that you've seen, all the feelings you felt are all for naught whence death comes knocking at your door (I don't believe in an afterlife). Honestly, what's the difference between living in this world and living in a world where your desires come true (obviously it backfired for Sakura, but who cares about her, amirite?) if the end result is the same. The only difference is the life you are simulating will be better.
Because all those accomplishments, all that you've seen, and all the feelings you feel in Infinite Tsukiyomi will feel real. So what exactly distinguishes the two realms? You can't.
So what you're being used in whatever sense Kaguya is using you, when you die, what does it all matter?
Think about it. Think about what morality means. Think about what values mean. Think about the meaning of life. Try to understand that these are all hubristic concepts that we humans have created to feed our egos; none of this is real in the sense of objectivity in the face of nature/the universe. These are all man made concepts . Seriously, question all that you understand about human nature.
So another question would be, isn't it selfish what Naruto is trying to do? Just look at Kibas dream. Naruto is willing to strip that away from him. Unless you think Kiba doesn't deserve said happiness?
