[Theory] Infinite Tsukiyomi - Pending or Completed, and Possible Ending

Well this might be common sense, hopefully, but I may be wrong so I had to make it a theory rather than a discussion.

How do you dispell the Infinite Tuskuyomi? Hagoromo explained it is here:

Now you need both Tailed Beasts (Naruto has Kurama not to mention little bits of the other TB's chakra) and Sasuke's Rinnegan.

In the final clash, what did we see exactly? Look at the scan for yourself

It took Naruto and Sasuke barely any time to reach the "Valley of the End" which leads me to say, Sakura and Kakashi are either heading their way there, or helping the fallen comrades taken in by the infinite Tsukuyomi due to most shinobi in the alliance having a small piece of Katsuyu who has shown the ability to relay information on the things happening now.

We can defintely see two possabilities

I. Team 7 Reunion with Sakura healing them.

II. The Shinobi Alliance /w Sakura & Kakashi heading towards Naruto and Sasuke, not to mention Hinata.

Jutsu is cast only once, those who are affected shall be under it's effects for eternity. So it's not necessary for the jutsu to be active forever.

The initial effect of the IT was only for a limited time. That's why Sasuke sheltered team 7 under his susano'o until it was safe to come out.

Also the scan you have is a mistranslation. They have to both do the rat seal, not put their seals together. They lost the seals when the sealed Kaguya.

Sasuke shielded Kakashi, Sakura, and Naruto with Susanoo from the moon's light when the infinite tsukiyomi was activated. I don't remember the specifics, but somehow staying in the Susanoo's shadow allowed them not to be affected by the tsukiyomi while it was active.

It was not activated long for genjutsu. Hince the part where black zetsu betrays madara and other stuff. We will see people waking up out of the cocoons, hagoromo saying the boys did it. Kakashi and sakura going to aid as hinata wakes up uses byakugan and leads the rest towards their location. Then a possible return and few weeks later etc. Probably about it.

I knew this, but what really bugged me was if the Infinite Tsukuyomi's genjutsu was always active instead of being a one shot deal.

Those damn scans giving me false information! Anyway, the arms that they lost, did it contain the seals? Because now its seems really hard to picture Naruto and Sasuke actually using chakra, not to mention hand seals, even though the rat seal requires one hand.

The jutsu is still active, but you cant get caught into it anymore. Moon no more reflecting the third eye.

As Sasuke states, Naruto should give Kakashi his rinnegan.

I doubt it, it's possible to solve this problem, make kakashi 6th hokage and clearing up the situation between the village and Sasuke. We will be left in a cliffhanger.

And the biggest Failure will be Naruto. Always sayin IM GONNA BE HOKAGE. And now he does not =D

Well you have to remember, Naruto is still a child. Would you want a teenager to lead you despite that he saved the world? That doesn't mean he is ready to lead the village, but it shows he's the most capable to defend it. In time he will mature and take the mantle as Hokage

Well yeah, remember how when Kurama was under genjutsu/control his eyes were sharingans. I think same thing with the moon

Very true. I was hoping for a more dramatic effect for a genjutsu than it being a 'solo glance'.
