Indra's Mangekyou Already revealed?

In My previous thread people commented that Indra's manegkyou sharingan design was already revealed in the anime/manga .

Then i checked Naruto wiki according to them thats the design:

Howcome? In the manga Kishi didn't specifically say that his eyes were mangekyou, maybe this was his eye and design before kishi decided to give him a sharingan .

This was the first time he was shown in the anime/manga . His eyes were like this but maybe this was another eye design kishi wanted . Its not necessarily mangekyou sharingan . As long as it was never said in the manga its a manegkyou sharingan we can't say its one . Fa sboro shway ba2a

Debatably. Although it doesn't look like any MS design we've seen so far, and we never see it again outside of that mural.

It's either implied to be his MS/EMS, or it's just another one of Kishi's retcons and inconsistencies.

I always thought of it as a mere placeholder. Madara had noted that reincarnations had straight tomoe so I would expect Indra as well to have a design based on that, but it's very possible that it's simply because Indra's Sharingan takes after the ripples of the RinneSharingan.

To be fair, Kishi also drew Ashura with a strange chakra aura, which doesn't fit with any Chakra Mode / Sage Mode we've seen thus far. Naturally, Kishi's intent was to show us the general concept of "bodily power." Perhaps Indra's swirly eyes, which look more like an incomplete Rinnegan than an actual MS/EMS, are also meant to merely represent "Eye Power."

What else could the eye have been? The only suspect is that it was his MS. That may have been a placeholder as Kishi is known to change designs but I don't think Indra/Ashura's design canged dreastically since their first appearence.

OT : Indra's eyes were obviously MS because anything that doesn't have the standard 3 tomoe isn't a normal Sharingan. Kishi most likely used swirls for his eye pattern because they were meant to look like the ripples of a Rinnegan hence the term "he had the Sage's eyes".

EMS is a result of eye transplant. Indra didn't have EMS by defintition because he never had an eye transplant. His eye didn't go blind because he had Rikudou chakra. Any Uchiha with Rikudou chakra doesn't need EMS to use PS.

Tbh I think it would just be called MS. Remember this isn't Uchiha Sharingan, but Otsutsuki Sharingan. It might even be a Kekkei Moura Sharingan. Either way, I think you're right in that his eyesight wouldn't deteriorate, but that would be because of it being the "original Mangekyou".

To me, Uchiha's EMS would be their (probably weaker) equivalent to Otsutsuki's MS.

Of course he has EMS. Well it probably wasn't known by that name but the point is hes the ancestor of the Uchiha and his Sharingan would have been perfect. If anything he probably wouldn't even have had MS, just Perfect Sharingan.

But that last bit is just a theory, but for all intensive purposes he has the EMS otherwise that retard BZ wouldn't have known what to write on the Stone Tablet. Or the So6p either one, because both didn't have the Sharingan so they wouldn't know its powers unless they witnessed Indra using them.
