Anyone think the large scale Shinra Tensei has the power to deflect Indra's arrow?

Considering the Kyuubi chakra arms easily withheld it, I doubt it. Indra's arrow seems to be the single most destructive move shown so far so I doubt it

that shinra tensei didn't even kill katsuyu protected fodders, nor could it kill tsunade after she gave up all her chakra to protect everyone else.

CST is just a large AoE attack like tepenchi or bee's whirlwind, its got nothing on many attacks that have much smaller AoE due to the nature of those attacks.

However the point is that Indra's arrows creates powerfull blast of lightining and sparks while Shinra tensei no matter how powerfull can only deflect/move blast away but it can not disperse it or nullify it most likely.

Also unless Indra's arrow contains Rikudou chakra then it is nullified by Onmyoudon applied to TSB

OT: If the sages chakra helps Indra's Arrow I would say yes. But other than I would say ST deflects it IMO

I really don't know. . . I would like to say that Shinra Tensei can withstand the arrow, but that was one of the most powerful Ninjutsu ever seen in the entire Manga. . . :erm:

But, another thing. . . we have not seen Hagoromo, nor Madara use Shinra Tensei, and they are more powerful than Nagato, plus they are the ones that actually awaken the Rinnegan.

Meaning, it depends on the user. :yeah:

Are you sure Nagato had used his ultimate ST? One on the same magnitude as the one he used to destroy konoha? I doubt it since it has a larger CD time than normal ST.​

Nope, but he did use Chibaku Tensei, and it was x10-15 larger than Nagato's, so it's safe to assume that would be the case with Shinra Tensei. Obito also did say that the Rinnegan is more powerful when it's with its original holder.​

ST is just ST. There was no distinction in any use, it was just a large scale version. Frankly, no distinction was necessary because Konoha is just wooden buildings.

Well actually city level DC refers to a blast that is capable of destroying only the top surface of a city i.e. only the buildings and stuff, not the landmass itself otherwise it will be called island level in DC. So since ST destroyed all the buildings and a lot of landmass too, it is close to city level in DC.......you calculate the energy required and it comes out to be enough to destroy a city.
If an attack vapourises a city completely along with the landmass, it will be called island level. Like BM Naruto's Bijuu dama that vapourised mountain ranges and a huge portion of the landscape.
This is reason that nukes are all city level+ in DC, even if they can't destroy the mountains and the landscape itself.
