Indra Otsutsuki and Tenseigan

U need hamura's chakra to awaken tenseigan. Toneri said he was the last otsotsuki,and hamura was the creater of shinobis on the moon. So he was related to hamura,all he needed was a byakugan user,(like hamura's eyes) to awaken tenseigan.
Rinnegan is senju+uchiha,but tenseigan is hamura's chakra+byakugan.
Sasuke and madara don't have hamura's chakra,and they aren't otsotsukis. They are uchihas who mixed their chakra with senju(in sasuke's case he got it from Hago himself) and GAINED hago's chakra.

Well Hagoromo is Hamura's twin bro so....

You perhaps wanted to relate Sage Mode to the body, but the problem with that is Sage Mode is created by Yin + Yang + Shizen, so you can't say Doujutsu users like Indra can't have it. When someone uses Sage Mode, a common characteristic is markings around the eyes. It's not far fetched to assume that Indra had Sage Mode. :sdo:

Ashura already had SPSM so, i think it's safe to assume that Indra didn't had sage mode if Sasuke/Indra = Yin and Naruto/Ashura = Yang to balance things out.

Indra only has some tribal face paint on his face, to show that he is from an ancient time. Such as Hagoromo having a painted Rinnegan on his forehead and the entire family having wrapped bunches of hair on one or both sides of their head.

Dude hamura = main branch otsutsuki X hyuga main branch which is = tenseigan

Indra never had the chakra for the Byakugan, so he couldn't have had the Tenseigan.

The Tenseigan is Hamura's ultimate dojutsu Not Hogoromo's.


Hamura Otsutsuki-Hyuuga= Byakugan/Tenseigan
Hogoromo Otsutsuki-Uchiha=Sharingan/Rinnegan

Indra is the eye's of his father so that's where his power lies. An of course he has a strong body but it's not Sm lvl.
Ashura is the body of his father so it would be fit for him to have SM. Plus it's arguable that being the heir to the Otsutsuki could have gotten him an extra boost from his dad that Indra didn't get..

Indra didn't have sage mode. His power came from the eyes, not the body.

He inherited Hagoromo's chakra which is originally Six Path Senjutsu and he's also a direct descendant of the JuubiJin so his body would carry enough amounts of Senjutsu to give him the same marks as SM users.
