well considering the facts that these stories or myth corresponds to even before 5000 B.C. that I think it's the other way around. Well,tbh,if you look in stories like ramayan,mahabharat,etc. you'll find every possible powers that are depicted in marvel,dc or mangas. In a way you could say humans imagination has a limit,and those who surpass that limit(the original creators of said things) are hailed as genius.

U DO KNOW that thor isnt an invention of marvel, do you? Just asking^^ thor is also a very very old mythology( hough by far not as old as eastern mythologies as far as i know) its just natural that people gave to pretty much every event which happens in nature(thunder lightning etc) they invented a god^^ they exist independent of each other many times(especially in cultures which barely had contact) also i just mentioned thor for comical purposes
