Indeed, fillers are very unnecessary right now. The only one who deserves a filler is Hashirama, even as a transmigrant he is quite special.

They would of showed backstory on Indra v Asura during the speech about them when Naruto/Sasuke met Hagoromo. Unless they are saving it for the final arc to tie it with Naruto v Sasuke, I don't see it happening at all.
