we see this happening here with obito, he awakens ms the special chakra awakens and the side with hashi's dna grows the rods which is yin/yang release-uchiha yin chakra and hashi's yang chakra made rods sprout

which is most likely why kakashi fainted because he cant handle the uchia yin chakra and needed time to control it or something
obito only got one dose of special chakra it sprouted in his eyes and his sharingan became mangekyou sharingan

with obito he had a strong emotion the chakra sprouted and his sharingan became mangekyou

with sasuke he kept getting angry(strong emotion)and the susano'o(special chakra)kept getting bigger his eyes turned into mangekyou but the chakra kept sprouting and instead of his eyes changing even more they went blind so he had to get an ems to counter that
indra had the ems because sasuke had to get the ems to handle his power and when the sage said that madara combined his and ashura's chakra to get his,madara had the ems

Just because sasuke couldn't awaken such power without EMS, doesn't mean indra is the same. Indra is the originator of the sharingan he is above sasuke in terms of natural potential

Indra doesn't need Ashura's chakra, he inherited his fathers chakra.

So because he has his fathers chakra, he didn't need EMS or Rinnegan for perfect susanoo.

That's why when Obito entered Kakashi to give him perfect Susanoo, he didn't have EMS or the rinnegan.

So ms+Hagoromoo's chakra= uchiha perfect susanoo
