jiraiya would have probably done "research" on kaguya and when hagoromo appeared to give them powers oro would have said something like "i want that body of yours" ....do we really want to see that?

I know that, same principles apply to this. Naruto's and Sasuke's genetics make Ashura and Indra their ancestors hence the transmigration cycle.

Nah, the two only chose those related to them as well as two who were in conflict with each other. Genetics has nothing to do with it.

It does play some role. Indra wouldn't choose a Hyuuga, and the only people with "strong bodies" are the Uzumaki and Senju, I guess Kaguya with Shikotsumyaku too.
