[COLOR="FF000"]A few months ago we were watching our tv screens. Observing the games we see only once every 4 years. The most prestigious sight being your country's flag on the Medal tables. As usually celebrities weren't satisfied with living their large lives, more specifically Piers Morgan. He noticed how China dominated the medals table. The greatest thing about their medal reign was how well round it was. From swimming to ribbon dancing to fencing to weight lifting etc. the biggest excuse was its 1billion populous country(meaning apon high numbers they found solace of infinite talent). It was natural to question another country with almost the same population "why isn't India having the same success"

Piers took his time to troll the subcontinent country, "England will win a World Cup(cricket) before another Indian wins a gold medal" not his exact words of course. His remark was highly justifiable: India in its history of olympics it has only 1 gold and no greater than 10 medals.

So in my research a lot of Indians blamed the country's resources, or how olympics were not that much of value there. Then I made an argument: South Africa has more than 5 gold medals in the last decade already and we're not the best country in the world in terms of resources not by a mile.

Which leads to the question: why is India failing so much when it comes to olympics?

It is really weird indeed how India is not much better than a nation like Moldova or Malta. Even some African nations where the population is starving do better.

Hmmmm really makes me think

Exactly, seeing how Kenya wins gold every event it's appealing to be 1 billion populous and win nothing. You'd think like China there is strength in numbers
