In which Chapter should I start reading Naruto

I don't have any idea about Madara, Hashirama, Tobirama, etc. Are they shown in the Shippuden part already? Which chapter should I start reading to know more about some of their histories.

By the way, I'm already starting to read where Sasori fights with Chiyo and Sakura, is it okay to start from here?

[EDIT] By Beginning I meant with SHIPPUDEN. Not the beginning of the entire Naruto series.

For the posts here who said start from the beginning, probably the OT is too lazy to start it so he wanted to start in the Shippuden.

OT: Just continue from where you are, you may have a lot of knowledge from there.
