The only logical explanation is that someone told him his parents were fodder who died in the war and that he was all alone now. That's what Hiruzen said in the filler

He literally said, "They died in the war" Without saying anything else and walked away. He was so raw. Hiruzen was a bit ****ed up too, in the filler episode he came to give Naruto rent money and then he left. Like that's their interaction.

How Naruto didn't grew up wanting to kill these ****s I'll never understand. Especially since some of the characters knew he wasn't evil at all like; Hiruzen, and Kakashi (whom was Minato's student and never contacted Naruto once?).

Still even Naruto has limits. At some point, the over extension of chakra usage should have left him damn near helpless. Sakura can heal wounds, but if I'm not mistaken, she can't restore chakra. Why throw it out and never use it?
