Mokuton Bunshin SPAAAAAM.

Literally hundreds of thousands of bunshins, all at full chakra level.

If Naruto was an edo, it would be even worse. Millions, maybe even billions of the bastards all at full chakra.

It doesn't work like that.

Its unlimited chakra, not infinite. They cannot do anything they can't do in their current state, shown by Nagato having to absorb chakra to reach his full potential.

Arn't unlimited and infinite the same thing?

Maybe I said that whole idea wrong.

An example would be if Madara can make 25 clones at his current state, and after he'd be exhausted. He can't just keep making an infinite amount of clones. However, instead of being exhausted, he'd have the ability to make another 25.

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

In the end, they could still make nearly infinite clones. It would take longer for one or the other to destroy 25 clones than for the other to make 25 new ones already.

That makes no sense.

If the chakra is just replenished after it is spent, the concept I described works the same.

That makes no sense.

If it doesn't make sense, and Edos have unlimited chakra reserves as you seem to be implying, then why was Nagato brought back in the state that he only appears when he's lacking chakra? Why did he need to absorb chakra from Killer Bee to replenish himself? Why couldn't Muu use jinton after he split himself?

They can't just make 1,000,000 clones. They're limited to the amount of chakra they had when alive, unless altered through special means (such as Nagato's Preta Path).

Unlimited and Infinite may be similar in description but it doesn't imply what you are saying.

By saying "Infinite" you are saying they could make a million clones at once because their chakra reserves are infinite. By saying unlimited you imply that they are never ending but they need to replenish after the chakra reserves of the person (Entirely dependent on the person when they were alive) are depleted. If Madara were alive in his current state he could make 25 MokuBunshins but he would be exhausted as opposed to now where he would make them, spend the chakra and have it regenerate.

But still, from what you described of "unlimited" chakra, it sounds like it's no different from normal chakra. You lose it, you replenish it.

I say this is false. Unlimited chakra means never ending.

-sigh- Basically the are the "strongest" CHARACTERS (counting edos and etc).

Though I really don't like talking about Edo Hashirama.

They are limited to the amount that they had at the time of their deaths, unless more chakra is obtained through special means. No matter, though, as I said before, no Edo is making clones on the scale that you described in this thread. Muu, after splitting his body in half, couldn't use jinton at all due to a lack of chakra. Nagato's body took on the same appearance that it had when he was severely lacking in chakra.

No there is still a distinction.

What you're ascertaining here is that they mean the same thing, and using that logic, Madara/Hashirama/Anybody in this war with a large tech, could spam millions of Bunshins/massive techs without any loss of chakra. It is completely illogical. It is a similar premise when you compare them both but take it like this:

Madara can use up to 2 Meteors before taking a brief rest (To let his chakra regenerate in Edo Form)

With what you are proposing, he could spam hundreds of meteors without any fatigue/chakra cost, which makes literally no sense at all because it would make this war pointless and any way Naruto/SA would beat Madara would be deemed "Plot related" because spamming at such a high level basically gets rid of the possibility of the SA winning.

So what's the point of having unlimited chakra then?

If you picture it with a number for example 100. Now lets say it cost the user 50 to cast his jutsu, then he can cast it two times and he will be out of chakra. With Edo its the same amount as when he was alive, in other words he still only has 100 and can cast his jutsu twice but the difference with Edo is that it regenerates much faster....maybe instant....he wont be able to cast a justu that costs more than his peak number (in this case 100)...

Well if it regenerates instantly he can just spam it and it works the same as having infinite chakra.
