Madara just changed the target of who the rinne tensei was going to revive. Obito already used the jutsu, Obito was planning on dying. Not Madara's fault. But then again when Obito has more strength he is able to resist and would have probably been able to cancel. So I guess it is partially Madara's fault, but pssh Obito was planning on dying anyway. Um Obito even stated himself that the Rinni Tensei required him to die to revive Madara.

Exactly, Obito is almost dead as he is, he got Juubi extracted from him + got beaten up by the Alliance, so as he uses Rinne Tensei, GG WP Obito. To bring back something as big as Madara.. that requires a lot of Life Force.. and speaking of that Obito has NONE compared to Nagato.

So everything you said just equals = Yes, Obito is dead.
