1. That was filler
2. To destroy an organization which would become a major threat to the leaf.
3. If Danzo didn't do what he did, Konoha would have been engulfed in civil war. So that's a good thing
4. ...that was Orochimaru
5. Pretty sure that was filler
6. Do you honestly think Danzo or anyone in Root could have done a thing to Pain?
1. Created by people who ahve copyright to Naruto story. And is no contradicted by anything in the manga, that "filler" will stand unless it is contradicted. Understand the relationship between anime and manga storyline.

2. Akatsuki wanted peace.

3. No, Danzo is the one who held them back when they wanted to attack.

4. Danzo advocated orochimaru...

5. Stated by Tsunade in te manga.

6. Do you think Kakashi did anything to pain? nope.. he sitll gave up his life to protect his people and his village << TRUE SHINOBI of the leaf.

At least he doesn't pretend that he isn't

Tsunade is a terrible Hokage. Danzo would have been great and would have taken the village in the direction it needed to go
Ah ok, why not you make one of the elite criminals in your jails , your mayor or president? I'm sure alot of them "did it for the country " or "did it for their people".

for someone who supposedly loved their village, he was nowhere to be seen by anyone in both occasions when Konoha was under atk. More to the point, conspiring with a foreign entity to help him unseat the Hokage doesn't tell me he loved the village as opposed to loving the idea of himself being at the head of it. If he loved the village as much as he claimed, it wouldn't have mattered one bit who was the Hokage, whether it be an Uchiha, Hiruzen, or Tsunade.

Danzo is just loved by Uchiha haters because he's the poster boy in the story for their hatred of them.

Again, I'd rather go by Jiraiya and Itachi's words.

Not quite. I don't hate Uchiha at all. I really like one, like another, and a third is one of my favorite characters. But I understand how you'd make that assumption.
Danzo is garbage and is just space for Sasuke's test dummy....
Profound.

Yes, because everything that's said in this manga is supposedly true; like Hiruzen being the god of Shinobi or the Hyuga being the strongest clan in the Leaf.

Like seriously, people need to learn to think for themselves.

I don't think I ever said that.
Agreeing with two of the most philosophical characters on their same ideas on death =/= agreeing with what everyone says in the manga.
You should really stop making assumptions about me.

Danzo did what was best for Konoha. If it wasn't for him, Konoha wouldn't even exist in the first place.

my apologies for assuming so in your case, but well, Danzo is basically the guy Itachi got that mentality from. He's seen in a flashback echoing the same words Itachi told Sasuke in basically the same as how Obito has been seen regurgitating dialogue that came from Madara. Kinkaku and Ginkaku had protected Kumo from who they saw as a direct danger to it and didn't need to be secretive in the least about it or get someone to be a fall guy for them.

They have the same ideals of ninja, but maybe not the same ideals of death.
I don't think Kinkaku and Ginkaku ever had to deal with something like the most powerful clan of Kumogakure secretly undertaking a coup de'tat that would most likely lead to civil war :/

Danzo did love the leaf village. But he should have learned "if you love something, set it free". His methods only hurt the leaf, he should have accepted his own imperfections instead of trying to do everything on his own. He was sacrificing the essence of what the village truly stood for, turning it into something it's not.

I think I can agree to that, more or less. At the very least, he shouldn't have tried to do everything on his own.

they had to deal with a Raikage who they believed to be unknowingly handing the village over to someone as shady as Tobirama. Imo, the danger was more imminent than probable, like the matter regarding the Uchiha's coup. There was a whole lot of "probablys" and not enough "know for sures". Kinkaku and Ginkaku took the course of action that they did, and in doing so Kumo benefited in the end. Danzo took the course of action he did and served to make things worser for Konoha. Not only did he help in causing the drop in Konoha's military power, he's the biggest reason why there were ppl who didn't trust Konoha.

I think I missed the whole K and G brothers thing, because I don't remember any of that being said...
But yes, Danzō's performance at the 5 Kages Summit was poor, though I do see his reasoning.
