In Part 1, The Countless Fillers Didn't Upset Anyone But In Part 2 Yea?

after the whole sasuke thing and he ditched and all, the actual cannon ended right there right? correct me if that's not so, but then came like countless episodes meaning countless months of nonstop fillers, i wasn't around back then, did people hate them as much as they do now, cuz these fillers lasted longer than the ones now.

I know i basically skipped all fillers of part 1 and went right into part 2. Let me know

i mean i kinda did kept on watching cuz the fillers did sometimes relate to the overall story like when they found a bug that could find sasuke's scent and naruto messed up...but once a friend told me i stopped so i understand what u mean

yes I hated them... but no I didn't hate them.. some of them were good.. like Raiga/curry of life..
and when Naruto left the hospital and went with Jman / Sakura searching for Orochimaru's hideout.. I think.. <_<
but they did give Hinata a fake jutsu.. >.>

NO I didn't hate them. because I knew the CANON was OVER... till the NEW ish came out..
I just hoped Naruto anime would have learned from pointless episodes.. <_<
Those fillers were not stopping the story canon from progressing..
THESE SHIPPUDEN FILLERS WERE SPLITTING the WAR UP.. <_<

FILLERS are okay if they don't screw up the aspects of truth of the canon..
like creating new FILLER EYE Dojutsu KEKKEI GENKEI...

the fillers should display brilliant ways the characters can be used.. and their relationships...
NARUTO is the MAIN CHARACTER.. we DONT NEED him in EVERY FILLER before SHIPPUDEN STARTS..
lets see what was going on while he was frigging gone.. but the animators didn't see it that way...

make the ANIME FILLER : ACTION PACKED, FUNNY, ROMANTIC, or anything that doesn't eff ish up.. like the story..

but NO I didn't HATE THOSE.. I just eventually QUIT watching them.. I knew WHAT THEY WERE. -__- nothing..

yeah, but some people find out stuff here on NB from others and also the manga has flashbacks :itachi:

OT: some of the fillers before Shippuden actually looked (kinda) Canon.. that's a good thing.
it'd be better if Kishi would announce if he accepts certain filler as canon..

idk but I fail to imagine a Hashirama or a Madara fan watching part1
it was full of "fodders" and wasn't "epic"... even the hokage level jutsus like shadow clone shuriken were fodder back then
so part1verse must have been way too weak and boring for them

not all of it though.. Naruto's ninja handbook. Rock Lee vs Gaara. Oro vs the 3rd. Neji vs Naruto. Sas vs Nar.

but knowing who won and being this far into the story would probably feel like a drag to go back and watch them for the first time.. u_u for them.. its nostalgia almost for anyone who has followed the series back then.

I didn't know they had fillers so no, they didn't suck as much as the ones from now........ except for the last Part I arc..... that one sucked but I don't know how others felt as I started watching Naruto when they were already into the war arc....... So yeah.

At least in part 1 you had fillers that contained a lot of entertainment such as naruto acting goofy and ninja skills not based on the hax called sharingans and it was rare to see kurama and probably because we didn't know what was fillers back then. I started watching naruto at 2007??????

i never bothered to watch them as i was told about the fillers and as for part 2 i stopped watching fillers at the 3 tails arc as it really just dragged on for like ever and how it got rapped up annoyed me with deidara and tobi coming in and caught it with little to no effort(this was before i caught up with the manga lol) so now i only watch filler that interest me.

Part one was worse in the sense that you had 80+ fillers in a row, but they were more entertaining than the ones we're getting now. These have been more hit or miss. Fillers for anime based on manga still running are usually meant to buy time so it doesn't catch up too quickly. Isn't this what happened to Bleach?
