In Kakashi Ark would Mighty Guy Make a Good Anbu?

Mighty Guy's Taijutsu at this age has to be around Lees imo he Whirlwind Kicked like 12 guys, he's always trained that hard. But would he fit into the Anbu?

Imo ANBU woudnt suit him.. not saying he doesnt have the skills but its a role that doesnt really match his personality

Considering how serious he can get when actually in battle i'd say he could do it.

I mean seriously, the guy knows when to stop dicking around and during the 7 swordsmen fights, the Tobi fight and Kisame fights- the guy doesn't mess around.

Hokage does NOT suit his personality though, he's perfectly suited to his role as special jonin, awesome sensei and Wild Beast of Konoha.

naw he was better than lee at that age for one he was a jonin following the chuunin exams lee and most of k11 were still genin and later made chuunin...plus when guy met lee he said lee had no ninjutsu or genjutsu, and had no skill in tiajutsu whatsoever...but i dnt think anbu fits his character type

As much as I adore Guy-sensei, he doesn't fit the qualifications for the job. His specialty is Taijutsu but he lacks in other areas such as Ninjutsu and Genjutsu not to mention he lacks the mental capacity. Kakashi on the other hand was quite skilled for someone so young and was very intelligent. Let's not kid ourselves. ANBU isn't supposed to be for stupid people. It is more of an elite group than anything.

Nah. Reread the Obito fight, he was contributing just as much to the fight mentally as Kakashi was, they were figuring out Kamui together, just to stay alive or land a hit in the early stages of that fight you needed to be strategic. Guy can be very smart and serious when he has to be.

And plus is ANBU really that highly-regarded? Are the conditions to get in really that tricky? Because whenever we see them they're pretty inefficient. The real thing it comes down to is would Guy want to be in the ANBU? I doubt it. He has the capabilities and can apply himself but he's better suited in life to a role where he can be more outlandish and obvious.

I thought was only because he can read Kakashi like a book? He is more they type to do the dirty work for Kakashi since Guy always mentions Kakashi as the better one. BUt I do agree with you on the last part which I highlighted.

Gai is skilled, more than most in fact

The reason why i don;t believe he would be a good fit in Anbu, is nothing to do with skill

Gai is his own type of fighter and CHARACTER, his buoyant personality wouldn't be suited to the masked silent shinobi
