So I saw some user with the wors -In detention next to his name but it was not a part of his username
What does it mean?

it means they are being punished for doing something against the rules in narutobase... it bassically restricts them from doing certain things and having avatars and signitures i believe

All of you are just horribly horribly wrong.

If I am not mistaken, the "in detention" thing is for certain people who will just keep using proxies and alt accounts after their main account is banned. At least thats what happened with the people I know that were or are in detention.
Although its at the admins discretion to use or not use so it all depends.
