They were taken out in 1 move. That's a 1 shot. Minato doesn't have any type of durability like the toad summons do. A ftg barrier isn't even plausible in this situation. Forming the handseals for one thing and then teleporting an invisible technique towards an unexpected attack isn't happening.

-Toad Summons get raped by the Rinnegan Summons, considering the Dog alone had the Gama Trio all tied up. Any form of sending them away from the battlefield won't work since Nagato can summon them right back, and contract seal isn't going to work as Nagato is controlling them via chakra receivers, similar to how the Six Paths of Pain are being controlled.

-Shinra Tensei occurs as soon as the user thinks of activating it and there is no way to tell that its coming until its actually used, meaning Hiraishin isn't helping him get away. Once Nagato uses it, he turns Minato into a smear of skin on the ground.

-Bansho Tennin from Nagato renders his targets immobile, as seen by KCM Naruto when he got pulled by it, and couldn't move at all. Though BT isn't a good idea here anyway.

-Preta will absorb any Rasengan or chakra based jutsu, but since Minato can kill him with a Kunai, its not as useful here.


If Minato tosses a Kunai(s) toward him, he doesn't need to use Shinra Tensei to repel them. Asura can blast them away, the Giant Panda can be summoned to block the Kunai....or if Nagato is feeling like ending it quickly, he can just retaliate with Chou Shinra Tensei, blowing away the Kunai and pasting Minato in the process.

Using st shortens your lifespan, so any handicap that you came up with is all on Nagato.

Hokage's 1-4 (skeptical about 3) are on a whole other level in comparison to Nagato.

They're one of the few that can actually compete against the top 3 (excluding the sage and his family).

So minato can't be as durable as his student either or a frog that broke his bones on a couple of mountains.

Minato's clone takes care of the summons. Hiraishin's them away. And if Nagato tries to re-summon them, well Nagato gets killed mid-summoning-process.

too slow for Hiraishin, I mean Juubito couldn't react to Hiraishin, Enton+FRS after direct hit was nothing against Hiraishin. Too bad ST couldn't even hurt shima or Kiba, so much for turning Minato into a smear of skin Lol

I wanna see a scan of the first part because nothing was mentioned about his health prior to the Justu of ct.

As for the st, when Nagato turned off all the other paths konan stated that what your doing is too far and it will shorten your life-span.
