From what I've been hearing, many people disliked the idea of Suigetsu stumbling upon a secret orochimaru base and finding some rather shocking data because it felt like Kishi made it up as he went along rather than plan it, creating a new mystery once all other loose ends seemed to be coming to a close.
Well in my defense to that is the fact we still don't know what Kabuto is really planning, and knowing him, it's something incredibly sinister. He always seems to have something up his sleeve and even Tobi doesn't trust him. But the main reason why is because he mentioned something in chapter 521 about having 2 ultimate techniques and being invincible with them; One being Impure World Resurrection and the other being some unknown technique(hence the data from the base). Here's the proof.
