Take a look at one of the things the statue on the left is holding here.

Now take a look at this picture of the sage of six paths.

Do you see it the statue on the left on page 8 of chapter 590 is holding a staff and funnily enough the staff it's holding looks a lot like the sages staff and they both have rings on it.

Cool beans!. Although the Sage was a priest so it wouldn't be weird if he had something like that.

I guess I agree, I really don't know what/who they represent unfortunately. I also noticed that there is this distance view of Danzou talking to Itachi, where you see both statues, and later when Danzou talks about Itachi's two options to chose from, you see the one statue as background of the stay-with-Uchiha caption, and the other statue as background of the come-to-leaf caption.

I don't know if anyone else noticed this but the statue on the left reminded me of the Demon Asura. Also the fact it had the same hand signs Madara's Sasunoo had made when he used the meteorite jutsu, maybe a link hm?

I made thread about the left statue earlier today and someone else also noticed that.

Anyway its a Shakujou.

A Shakujou is a Buddhist ringed staff used primarily in prayer or as a weapon, that originates from India. The jingling of the staff's rings is used to warn small sentient beings (i.e. insects) to move from the carrier's path and avoid being accidentally trodden on. In ancient times it was used also to scare away dangerous animals. Ringing also is used to alert the faithful that there is a monk within earshot in need of alms

The other weapon is probably a Trishula.

A Trishula is a type of Indian trident but also found in Southeast Asia. It is commonly used as a Hindu-Buddhist religious symbol.

I cant make out what the third weapon looks like.

Also I don't know if anybody noticed, but the statue on the left with the 4 eyes is the exact same face that was shown during Itachi and Sasuke's fight. When Itachi was talking about the EMS and was saying he needed Sasuke's eyes to complete the EMS, that face/statue appeared behind him, I guess in Chakra form, but it is the EXACT same face. The only difference is in Itachi's the top eyes didn't have eyeballs in them yet, since he would need to put Sasuke's in it. But if he did it would look the exact same.

I made a thread about that. The Statue on the left might be an Ashura. Ashuras usually have three faces and six arms. The one on the right could be a Deva.
