5. The Beatles
Many think of The Beatles as the best band but I don't think so. They have a lot of ''filler'' music, they kinda threw as much as possible against the wall to see what stuck. But what stuck were some of the all time greats of music. They are an inspiration to entire generations of musicians and the most successful band in history. They really wrote some iconic pieces and sounds. It is impossible to do a top 5 bands list without The Beatles.
Some of my fav songs of theirs: Something, Eight Days A Week, In My Life, Help, Yesterday, Let It Be, Hey Jude, A Day In The Life, ...

4. The Who
Back in the day before I was born there was a huge debate in the UK: The Who or Led Zepp? Guess who I chose
. Many chose The Who, and they had good reason too. They are icons of rock with some great songs and my 2nd all time favorite drummer Moon.
Some of my fav songs of theirs: You Better You Bet, Baba O'Riley, Pinball Wizard, My Generation, The Seeker, Eminence Front, Won't Get Fooled Again, ...

3. Queen
Queen imho have THE best live performances (LIVE AID!!!), I get so pumped up just seeing a Blu Ray of a concert of theirs. Freddie is my 2nd fav vocalist and their songs get me pumped up like no other. Freddie is one of the most iconic figures in music and imo they wrote the most iconic song in music We Will Rock You ... I mean c'mon who hasn't heard that, everyone knows it but they have many songs that are even better than that including my 4th fav song of all time Bohemian Rhapsody.
Some of my fav songs of theirs: Bohemian Rhapsody, Radio Ga Ga, I Want It All, It's A Kind Of Magic, Too Much Love Will Kill You, Under Pressure, Who Wants To Live Forever, One Vision, The Show Must Go On, ...

2. Pink Floyd
There is something about their songs that totally takes over me when I listen to them. I love their Lyrics (The Fletcher Memorial Home for xmpl) but what I love the most are the guitar solos, they made my 2nd and 3rd fav guitar solo (2. Comforably Numb, 3. High Hopes), some parts of them send chills down my spine no matter how many times I listen to them, they also wrote my 3rd fav song which is Comfortably Numb (mainly because of the guitar) that song is better at making me relax than weed (even if I smoke like only once a year). Comparing them to Queen was tough for me because I love them both but at the end there's just something in Pink Floyd's music that's almost magical.

1. Led Zeppelin
If you guessed The Who you were wrong. Sometimes I hear a pop song that I think is kinda good, or I hear one of the songs that I mentioned above ... but than I go listen to Led Zepp and that pop song just seems bad, even some of the songs above just seem trivial in comparison to me. When I hear Plant and Page's guitar sounds ... OMG. They have my fav vocalist, my fav guitarist, my fav bassist and my fav drummer. Not to mention they have BY FAR the best lyrics (most of their sogs, with Kashmir having my fav lyrics) imo, the best guitar solo (Stairway To Heaven) and my 2 fav songs of all time (Stairway To Heaven and Kashmir ... idc if you wanna complain that I chose the most obvious 2). Every time I listen to Zepp it's better. They are imo THE best band.
Some of my fav songs of theirs: Stairway To Heaven, Kashmir, Achilles Last Stand, Battle Of Evermore, The Rover, The Song Remains The Same, Thank You, Over The Hills And Far Away, Ten Years Gone, Going To California, Dazed And Confused, All My Love, Houses Of The Holy, Ramble On, What Is And What Should Never Be, That's The Way, ...

Oh let the sun beat down upon my face, stars to fill my dream
I am a traveler of both time and space, to be where I have been
To sit with elders of the gentle race, this world has seldom seen
They talk of days for which they sit and wait and all will be revealed
Talk and song from tongues of lilting grace, whose sounds caress my ear
But not a word I heard could I relate, the story was quite clear
All I see turns to brown, as the sun burns the ground
And my eyes fill with sand, as I scan this wasted land
Trying to find, trying to find where I've been
Oh, pilot of the storm who leaves no trace, like thoughts inside a dream
Heed the path that led me to that place, yellow desert stream
My Shangri-La beneath the summer moon, I will return again
Sure as the dust that floats high in June, when movin' through Kashmir
Oh, father of the four winds, fill my sails, across the sea of years
With no provision but an open face, along the straits of fear
Ohh
