IMO, Old Hiruzen with bloodlust>Orochimaru without Edos

I believe that if Orochimaru did not use the Edos to fight against Hiruzen which also bothered him Emotionally and if Hiruzen had the bloodlust to kill Orochimaru from the start, he would have won.

During the whole battle, it was easy to tell that Hiruzen was holding back because his former student and Teachers.

If an Old Hiruzen who wasted almost all of his Chakra and sealed parts of his soul away in the Reaper was able to literally own Orochimaru in CQC and have the cat-like speed to sneak in front of his face, The only time Hiruzen become bloodlusted during the battle was after he sealed the 2 Hokages. Hiruzen wanted to make sure that Orochimaru could not be able to use the Hokages again so he decided to use the Reapers to seal the Hokages for good.The only reason that Hiruzen decided to use the Reaper on Orochimaru is because he was practically out of Chakra and the Reaper was the only technique he had activated.

IMO had the battle just been between Orochimaru and a Hiruzen who was aiming to kill,then I see no problems for Hiruzen taking this.

Considering that he was known as the Professor for knowing and being able to use all the Jutsus of the Leaf, he mush have a considerable amount of Jutsus, possibly even sealing techniques in his knowledge. Knowing Orochimaru though, Hiruzen wanted to make sure that Orochimaru could not be able to use the Hokages again, he decided to use the Reapers to seal the Hokages for good.

Even when he achieved the resolution to defeat Hashirama and Tobirama and Orochimaru, he still couldn't bring himself to do it. Regardless of what Orochimaru had become, he still loved his student.

Orochimaru would be defeated by a 10 year younger Hiruzen high diff. If old Hiruzen didn't have any psychological crutches and was fully resolved, the battle would have been much bigger and could have gone either way.

That was a dumb response Ecstasy. He could just use multiple shadow clone and RDS. Or since he is known for knowing all jutsu within Konoha, he is bound to know more than a handful of sealing techniques.
