Kanye West, is my favorite, and to me the best! Rick Ross is one of my favorites too! He's basically the modern day biggie of the south! And Lil wayne is up there too. Idk about how you feel about them, but I literally cannot stand when someone tries to compare rappers like the three I just named, to other rappers that they think are "better lyricists". People these days that mention Tupac, Biggie, etc. Just say it because they heard other people say those names, and they know that they're dead, but were really good for their time. They have know clue about what those artists even rapped about or what lives they lived. They just know the names and the legacies.
I don't have time to compare rappers lyric by lyric. Because, if the song doesn't sound good in general, I can guarantee you I won't be listening to it. I don't give rappers like tech9 the time of day man. They suck! Their music is horrible, and it contains no consistency. Kanye West is what I like to call an artistic/musical genius. He produces and raps magnificently. That's the best of both worlds right there. 808's belongs in a museum of music, that's how good it is! He's talented. And his talent shows, and speaks for itself on EVERY record. You can't really say that about any other rap artist. Am I right? Lol

Not the goat imo but he's in my top 10. Great producer and rapper. He has an amazing discography and some consider it flawless. I'm not a fan of 808's but the others are great. Dude gets alot of hate from randoms but most hip hop heads respect him.
