Ok set let me ask yall this...what makes itachi overall bettee than sasori? As I said, his best feat is probably the uchiha clan massacre but he had help from the strongest uchiha at the time...not to mention most of the clan was fodder. Sasori killed the 3rd kazekage who was said to be the strongest ever from the clan...and he had a KG. Based off these two feats alone, sasori's took more skill.
You can't say itachi is better because of susanoo. Susanoo=/=poisoned iron sand.

Really? Konan didn't do shit in the manga besides kill a few konoha fodder, get owned by jiraya in 1 jutsu then gets killed by tobi.

As for kisame...ill give you that one...but if anything him and deidara are equals.
Itachi is a tier above Sasori. Itachi can see Sasori's heart container with his Sharingan and than all he has to do is hit Sasori's heart container with Amaterasu or Totsuka sword and he's won. Sasori has a very small chance of poisoning Itachi, if Itachi doesn't know about Sasori's weapons being poisoned. But I doubt that Itachi working in the same organization as Sasori and being the genius that he is hasn't figured out such a basic component of Sasori's fighting style. If Itachi does have knowledge of Sasori's poison, than he can defend all of Sasori's attacks with Susano'o and Sasori's small chance of winning disappears entirely.

Sasori is the 4th most powerful member of Akatsuki BEHIND Itachi.
His puppets are not powerful enough to penetrate Susanoo, and Itachi has Amaterasu, which destroys the puppets. Itachi and Sasuke in reality are the PERFECT counters to Sasori as a ninja. No way he is equal to Itachi.

Trust me iron sand attacks will devstate susanoo. Iron sand can also block Amaterasu.
