[Discussion] Imo anyone who is a fan of anime/manga should watch/read One Piece!

Imo OP is the greatest anime/manga i've ever watched/read (and i've watched alot of animes). People see 700+ episodes and feel like its too much, they're missing out.

The emotions, action, story and the vast characters are something i haven't seen anywhere else. One Piece is truly one of a kind.

There are so many more manga that are better than One Piece.

Really One Piece popularity all comes from Dragon Ball in some senses of course, but also that it's from DB that the sillness which is what Japan people cum all over is what draws them in and ain't nobody beating out JP.

The story is good, I cried when Ace died lmao. But I don't think it's the GOAT.

For me there's:

Hunter x Hunter

Dragon Ball

(The Promised Neverland has that GOAT appeal so far)

etc.

All kills that for me, too much. Comes off as weird to me. I love manga/anime but there are definitely categories towards weirdness to them which are acceptable and unacceptable (respectfully) ... it's like picking your type of porn

I haven't touched the manga for Jojo only watched what's been shown in the anime and Jojo is alright for the most part. It can get really damn good at times (the last 10 or so episodes of stardust season 2 = GOAT level), but for the most part it's nothing too out of this world, its no One Piece or HxH.

OP has terrible animation but the manga is good. I give it a 8/10 tbh.

I'd take it a step further and say that any fan of fiction should give One Piece a good chance. Eiichiro Oda is a genius with the way he writes his plot and characters. Hell, the level of worldbuilding he puts into this series rivals the likes of George R R Martin's, and in a medium considerably more difficult to pull it off.
