Here's one for you boys and girls, what would happen if everyone was immortal?

Now I'm saying that in the sense that they can't die from age or disease. Starvation, war, being stabbed all still apply. What would happen then?

And for the sake of not having all these wrinkly old ****s everywhere (because that's just gross, old people ick), once you hit the optimal age for your body (say mid 20s) you stay that way forever.

If by our time....a guy above wrote that with overpopulation problems, we wont be born, or at least live short...so if the type of immortality u are talking about exists....what a shitty world we will live in, or not.
If death by injury, like serious death injury, can happen, then belief in god will no longer be of use.

Then people would have no drive to live. Death is the reason people set to achieve goals, the knowledge that we will not be on this world forever drives us to live our life to its fullest.

Death, *** and goals are what causes people to live.

If stabbing could kill us. The government would create a program of genocide. Those of the age of 100 or more would have to be killed to reduce overpopulation. People would go into hiding, people would live in fear.

Not a great world to live in.

Unless there were some biological catch, like not being able to birth children until age 200 or something.

Well what would most likely happen is that the government would set an optimal age say 300 years and say that at that age you HAVE to die by any means necessary so that the Earth won't over flow
