Tobi can't be damaged by madara.... Madara can't compete with tobis space time + 6 bijuus. Eventually tobi gets close enough and uses human path.

Madara cant be damaged by tobi.. Madara can spam wood clones and put them all in susanoo while they use wood release to combat the bijuu.. and dont forget madara can rip tobi's soul out as well.. Madaras advantage is that he can make an infinite amount of clones and will never get tired.
