I often browse on mobile, so one of the first things I do to avoid lag is disable image code due to the large amount of gifs used in member's signatures. Lately I have noticed that even with them disabled, they still appear when either of the BB codes [IMG2 = RIGHT / LEFT / CENTER] [ /IMG2] are used. I'll post an image below as an example of what I a mean.
You must be registered for see images
The signature above is using the [IMG2 = RIGHT / LEFT / CENTER]BB code while the signature below is using the standard [ IMG ] BB code.

Another example is this, first I need anyone reading this to uncheck their show images box in their General settings, then open the top spoiler again. After that, open the spoiler below.
As you can see, it bypasses your image code disabled setting. I am not sure however, if this is intentional or not.
If so, it sort of nullifies the purpose of there even being an option to disable images being visible.

Since I imagine the majority of this site's users use PCs and have image code enabled, it may not be much of an issue. The glitch itself still does exist though, and I wanted to bring that to light.

Yup, I got the same results as you. You'll probably just get told to disable sigs, but this is indeed a problem and should probably be fixed.

I'm sure it's nothing that large scale.

Even with those disabled, it wouldn't prevent normal posts from using [ IMG2 ]

It is probably nowhere near top priority, but it shouldn't be tossed aside either.

True, and agreed. All you can do is wait for Zise to reply I guess. ._.

I don't think a lot of people use that kind of coding anyways, so it should not slow down your browsing experience as much, but yeah you are right in what you said.

Thanks for understanding the purpose of this thread. It isn't how frequently it is used, it is more or less the glitch itself that I meant to address.

The reason is that the [img2 is a custom bbcode made by us when members requested image alignment to the right. And that's why its overriding the no image options. We'll look into a viable solution for it. Thanks for reporting it!
